Born to a high school English teacher and a union coal miner, Mike Garavalia's humble beginnings trace back to a tiny wooden house in rural Southern Illinois. With an abundance of time spent on his grandparents' small farm just up the country road from his childhood home, as well as at the "Mom-and-Pop" hardware store they owned and operated in the nearest town, Mike learned that hard work, dedication, perseverance, and a positive attitude were the avenues to success both personally and professionally.
